It's alive.....the plot is alive!!!!

The seeds planted a couple of weeks ago have finally broken through and now my plot contains green things that aren't weeds......whoooo hoooooo.

For your delight and delectation we now have:-

Cabbage

Spinach (Favourite of Popeye)

Leeks (Boyo)

Brocolli (The most evil of Vegetables and scourge of kids everywhere)

Also to protect these wee mites from those pesky birds that flock around the allotments, I devised a heath robinson bird scaring contraption out of string, sticks, tin foil, sticky back plastic, toilet rolls, and an empty cornflakes packet (well... some of those anyway).

The spare plots also got a second digging over ready for the cauli's and tomatoes that are making good progress in the spare room at the moment. They should go in Easter weekend if I have time between easter eggs and church ;-)
